My house
I have probably about a couple hundred of these tiny little creatures living underneath the suction cups for my DIY CO2 and a rock covered in moss. I connot photo graph them they are simply too small about 1mm each they are composed of one large more elongated whitish clear ovals and 2 small brighter circle in the shape of....umm....a rocket ship. I am concerned because I did not add these and I do not know if they are parasitic.

Does anyone know what these may be or what might eat them?

Also I was observing them and noticed that they tend to stay on the rock or under the suction cup. They do not seem to swim.

that is EXACLTY what it was, Thank you so much I was scared to death that they were going to kill my fish.

Any suggestions on what I could throw in to eat them? I only ask b/c these things are in the same tank as my Oscar who is still a juvie.

Would it be okay to throw in a young rainbow shark or something?

or

you could just clean the rock by taking them out and washing them

i just replaced my gravel when i got them in my tank...

I am about halfway through planting this tank...plus the substrate is layered, Lava rock on the bottom 1" , Fluorite 2", and about an inch and a half of sand...Tearing the whole tank down would be time consuming and sad considering all the time/effort I have put forth in planting the tank and making all those layers.

I have read that Ghost shrimp will eat copepods and cyclops, and in the process help keep my plants clean.

Got two clown loaches and some ghost shrimp. The oscar seems to be okay with the new additions...maybe even a bit more comfortable.
