what the heck is this fish?

Looks like one. But Monster. Hi fins lose there color as they grow bigger. Not sure when But, i'll let you know when mine gets bigger.

its prob a hi fin but its a different color because it over time changed color to blend in to the substrate in the water system it lives in

prolly lots of iron in the soil nearbye and was stirred up by all the comotion.

That's definitely a high-fin.
Over time they turn to a rusty-red color and their fin becomes less high.

I always thought they change to a drab tan/brown color. It actually looks pretty cool with the red.
