yes i have fed them bloodworms yes but not all the time but yea they do get it .... would that be what it is and there stuck there like glue in the algea starting to grow there ?
well i know i have brown algea that will eventually change to green algea but im talking the little stringy things...
Oh. I had those in my turtle tank! It's a type of bug larvae. They start to multiply! I reccomend ENTIRELY removing everything in your tank and cleaning it very good! Get a calcium bone and they will all go to it. I hate them! But, they start to fly after like 1 month. They are very annoying little bugs!

and where would these larve come from ?? i think it might be left over bloodworms that didnt make it to the filter
Ya when I fed my turtles worms a couple times that happened. But, it happened a couple times when my air conditioner was in my window with a little 1/2" gap between the window and bugs flew in and laid eggs in my tank filters. We had some bug guy come over and I forgot what but it was a type of bug. They sealed up the Windows and fixed it all.

hmmmm, well be pretty hard for a bug to get into my tank with the glass and lid sealed on my top....im betting money on that it is left over blood worms that didnt make it to the filter and got glue/pasted to the algea on my rocks and etc lol ...
