I am breeding 1 veiltail male betta with two veiltail females. I got the females at petco a week after I got the male. I put both the females in a ten gallon tank seperated from the male but instantly they start chasing eachother and nipping their fins. In shock I looked at the container and shure enough their both veiltail females. I aput in them in seperate tanks and they both beat eachother up badly. Is it just a case of young misidentified males or is there more to it?
