Caught it today out of the creek and I can't I.d. it. By the way what kind of sunfish is in the third picture? I can't stop catching this particular type.

Chester creek near Cheney University. There are a ton of bass in there, really I've only been there recently and it's produced lots of smallmouths. My buddy pulled in a smallie that was pushing 15 inches last week. (same creek, just over on 452) Creek fishing has been very rewarding though, im usually a lake guy. It seems like the fish are quicker to strike anything that comes their way, which I guess would stand to reason considering their territories are smaller and more turbulent. The only problem I have been having is the frequency which those unknown bluegill pictured above keep killing my lures. They seem even more aggressive than usual and often beat out bass for my baits. Beats catching nothing I guess but it can still get frustrating. Its weird to see 7 fish come out from nowhere to investigate your lure, 5 of which are bluegill, 2 of which are decent bass, and be rooting on the bass to take it. 90% of the time the b-gills strike first, which I guess is because they have all balls and **** for brains. I've found the best bass hits come from out of the blue and hit hard. Heres a picture of my buddies bass. I'm holding it because he is so new to fishing he was too gun shy to pick it up.
