I had one of those holey african tank rocks in my garden for nearly a year in the extremely wet climate of England, I put it in a tank and bam out swam a julidichromis fry (tangynikan rock dwelling cichlid)
whatever it is it looks like its been dead for a while, guppy or some other livebearer?

a julidcocromis living in a rock outside? what did it EAT?
Algae? they primarily eat algae and it was on the rock, it was a large piece. I'm going to guess that the damp atmosphere kept water in the little holes and the limestone kept the water at the correct PH and the fish just managed to rough it for a few months. it was a miracle to me

about 1", it was a Julidichromis Dickfeldii (not sure on the spelling)
