Noticed this on my GG just as of late. Looks like an ulcer or something, kinda like a pimple. How to treat is the question?

there are medications for it. I think liek pimafix or melafix would do the trick. someone correct me on the meds. I like to use a lot of stresscoat to keep the fish coated, and keep the water real clean.
Got a BUTTLOAD of Melafix. I'd really don't want to treat the tank as it has some sensative fish in it though. Might set up a quarantine soon though. Its not spreading to the other fish, and it doesn't seem to be getting worse either...
Not trying to hijack your thread or anything, but mine has the same thing only its on his lower jaw. It's been there for a month now. Ive tried salt, melafix, and raised temps. seems very similar to what yours has...

JJK! Salt temp, he will be just fine. Try to feed less while he is heeling also...
Try the salt Jer, If it doesn't work then quarantine and treat. I personally don't care for Melafix. But there are plenty of other meds for Ulcerated wounds.
