Well I picked up 2 more skunks about a week ago and they both looked fine. Then yesterday after work I noticed that the smallest skunk had this on top of its head. It looked like something tried to eat it but there's no marks on the other side. Does anyone know what this is? It's eating fine and swimming around. Anything to be concerned about? Thanks

It does look like something tried to take a chunk out of it. Doesn't look infected yet. Can try clean water and melafix as this is a good option for it. It create a seal over it and watch.

More territorial issues maybe.

Only fish big enough to try to eat it would be the Pimelodus blochii's. Will have to keep a close eye on it.

As of today the wound is white and no signs of fungus or infection. Still swimming around, goofing with the other skunks and eating.

You would be better off keeping them with more aggressive loaches. I'm just tempting fate by keepin then with my queen, zebra and gold Burmese loach. I do have them also with a tiger and 3 other skunk look a likes.
