here it gets pitch dark by 5 pm... grrr miss the summer days! ahwell longer hours my tank light gets to be on!

wow in cali? oh wait when its 5 your time its 7 in wi so thats about right lol. think cali is about 2 hours diff from wi, am i right?

i know why timezone exsisted lol, what i was saying is i though that cali gets dark a lil later then wi, but realized that there 2 hours behide wi, so them getting dark by 5 is about right then. and thanks for the welcome back, havnt had a cig all day either!!!

it only varies within a time zone LBF
not between them
if you are on the east side of the zone
you see sunrise and set earlier
if you are on the west side of the zone
you see the sunrise and set later
once you step from the far west side of one
to the far east side of the other its a full hour difference
however the sun is seen from basically identical perspectives
It actually gets dark earlier for someone in South East California
that for someone in Western Georgia
