So I've got my 55 gallon all set up and running. I've got 2 gouramis(one blue, one gold) 1 peacock eel, and one pleco. What could I add that is pretty and decent sized but won't out grow my tank? Are there any kinds of cichlids that would get along with what I already have? Thanks!

Maybe a green terror, Mine isn't very aggressive at all. Butterfly fish are cool and might be an option

O and btw, you can get thhe fish in my avatar, but he might clear out your other stock. That fish is in my 55g

those gourami will get pretty big lol. angels are cichlids. maybe a couple small ones so they get used to the gourami and you dont have territory issues

they are cool looking fish that will stay small. they are somewhat delicate so be sure to keep your water as best as you can. maybe german blue rams are best. they are colored nicely and go great in small tanks. keep ph from 6.5 to 7.0 if you can. and they love live foods!

I would scrap the GT and look more towards the smaller cichlids ex: JD, Salvini, Firemouth, Convicts. I would look at cichlids 8 inches or less.
