What to Add?

Hello,

I have a quick re-calculation I have found that I have 20" left over.

My tank is a 48"x12"x15" with 2 fluval 3's. Current stock is 2 congo tetras, 1 Syno. Nigrita, 3 spotted sd's and 3 sd's. As far as I ma aware, I will not be overstocked with the current inhavitants and if possible to ad so other fish to hopefully encourage the sd's to come out more.

Any comments and ideas welcome.

Inch per gallon rule = no good. Best thing to add is more Congo tetras; they will be healthier and more colorful in a good-sized school.

Those spotted silver dollars might outgrow that tank eventually. Don't they get over 12"?

I have been looking at melon barbs for a change and they generally stay about 3". The congos in question are several years old.

Some species can, but I have read that the spotted dollars will stay at 5".

Oh ok, I get some SD species mixed up. I must be thinking of Red Hooks and the ones with bars (stripes)...
