Just thought i'd get your opinion's on what you would breed in a 55gal. that would make money. I have a 55gal. with a MAGNUM350 & AC70 and then i have a 29gal. with eclipse3 set-up and 2 Fluval 2's. So i have the breeding tank and the fry grow-out tank so now whats the good choice for a breeding pair????

Discus would be good if you are very experienced.Angelfish are always in demand.I think a breeding pair of flowerhorns or most large cichlids would need more room.

2-3 Pairs of Convicts or Firemouths, Severums, German Rams, Bolivian Rams, Angelfish, Discus, Small plecos, Corydoras, Heller's cichlid, Crenicichla Regani, the list goes on.
Not going to make any money on those but Discus and rare Plecos.

Here in El Paso, Pikes are illegal, and I'm sure plenty of Texans want Pike cichlids..And you could provide Angels for a store, especially Petsmart.. Here in El Paso, the Discus plague is leaving quite a few Angels dead.

most of those wont go for lots. I'm thinking rare pleco's would be a better bet. Cichlid wise you can get some specialty cichlids.... I've got some LDA 31 and l204 about size to start breeding.
if you do a sp tank with rare africans you could probably get some good money.
http://superpetauction.com/ look on here and ask some of the sellers if they have breeders available.

If you have never bred anything before start with convicts. If you can't breed them you may not be cut out for it, haha j/k. Breed a more colorful jewel fish. Small savage and colorful. Some rams would be cool too. Keep us posted here on what happens
