you will need 2 tanks to breed, one is the breeder tank other is the grow out. you can partition but I not like that. I deal with LFS for store credits on JD. beautiful fish and easy breeders. 75g breeder tank and a 30g grow out, let the algae grow in the grow out, well seeded tank with algae great for fry. can clean it up after they gone with a rogue pleco before next batch up. same for lots of cichlids, i just like doing the JD.

I have several tanks for grow out. Right now there is electric blue acara fry in it. Good suggestion with the JD but looking for something else already done them for many years. Want to try something else

I'd need more info to say. Do you like cichlids, catfish, Livebearers, etc

personally I like the idea of jacks. You could also breed plecos, get a nice rare species paired up and sell the fry for lots of moola.

I'm open for the most fish. Was just think that it probably will end up with a cichlid. It just have to be something where I don't feel that I'm waisting a decent size tank for some fish who could be breed in one of my smaller tanks

Synodontis Multipunctatus Catfish if you wanted something different

just did a quick look on live aquaria to see and from the info on live aquaria it seams like an interesting fish to breed. probably not what you are looking for but maybe....just maybe
