just wanted to make a decision bout this ok ill have my 20 gallon long empty in the spring and wanted to breed a fish in it for a little extra cash and fun so what should it be? crowntail betta, bristlenose pleco, or convicts.

all 3 of those are possible to breed in a 20 gal. but the ONLY one them MIGHT bring you any kind of profit would be the plecos if any

the convicts just aren't worth anything and the bettas would sell but by the time you raised all the babies to a sellable size you wouldv'e spent ungodly amounts of money just raising them

But first you need to get a growout fry tank first before try breeding any fish. I would toss the betta idea out as you don't have enough space or tanks for bettas. Bristlenose pleco are great idea as they can bring you some more money than convicts but depends on what strains of BN, hope you dont use the brown shortfin BN as they dont bring very much money as convicts IMO.

get cons, you can use the fry as safe/healthy feeders for your new oscar

but i cant make money f i feed con babies to my o cuz im going to save up money from this and my job to get them a 75 gallon but i might save a little more for a 120 so any special things i should know bout bn plecos on how to breed them i did some reasearch on them and know how to sex them and ive read that you have to mate them in the fall is this true and it also said do a 75% water change as well so if i were to do this then how often? this will be my first egg-layer ever so i really need some help

you could make money off rams and krebs, theyll breed in a 20

i think ill go with the bn pleco cuz it sounds fun to breed and i think ill have a tank with alot of hornwort and a guppy population in it and have just one pair of bn's
