What to breed to feed oscars?

Hello I have to oscars. I would like to breed fish or shrimp so i can give them a treat every once in a while. Red cherry shrimp sound like they are cheap and easy. Are they good and nutritious for oscars? Any other suggestions? Thanks

feeding oscars shrimp isn't a bad idea, I just wouldn't make it their staple. Also, be sure to quarantine the shrimp from passing disease.

Ok and I wasn't planning on making it their staple. I just wanted to be able to give them a change from the pellets every so often.
