Im going to me getting a couple 10 gallon tank and possibly 20's and i want to just set them up and breed some fish DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PROFITABLE just for some fun and practice.

If you could give me some ideas on what to stock. Im going to use sponge filters.
Try not to give me really expensive fish. And easy to find.

Also are there anything other things i need?

Thanks

Bettas. But that would also require you to get lots of 1 gallon containers to separate the males. But yeah, go with bettas because they actually require you to learn something as opposed to just having water, fish, a filter, and a heater. they are also not so difficult to breed that a novice couldn't do it. They are also very similar to the larger aggressive fish that other members keep on here as far as pairing up goes.

In tanks of that size, maybe shell dwellers? Otherwise you're gonna have to get at least a 40 gallon breeder if you want to breed anything that grows to over 4". (In a smaller tank the male will likely end up harassing the female to death.)

i would say
kribensis
and
killifish

You can try blue rams :D It takes them over 10 times before they can raise there own fry so maybe you can give that a try they are cheap and very nice looking fish
