what to do during power outing.

my ciries going to be doing some construction on the electric poles and they gave me a notice that on july 17th there will be no power from 10pm to 6am.
what can i do to keep my fish alive? i have heavily stocked tanks. so i need filtration!

run a generator off fuel.

buy a GENEATOR FOR SURE!!!! and do allot of water changes..GL with that...

would a battery power air pump support a 100 gal with around 30 fish inside?

Theres probably somewhere that will hire out generators near you, I would say that would be the best bet.

a airpunp will give o2 but for 30 fish i doubt it will work, your best bet would be to rent a generator..I priced some for ya, the cheapest is 399.99 @ lowes..

but 6 hrs, you might be good with allot of water changes and a couple of Live bait aerators..

would it work if i have a battery power bubbler running about 3 sponge filters.?
of course ill be cycling the sponge filters as soon as tomorrow.

its 6 hrs so you shoul be ok....just do as many slight water changes as ya can to be on the safe side..
