ok so i have a 55g ready for fish
porblem dont know what to put
im looking for a single ca/sa but i will have from juvie
also want a smaller Lnumber in there as well
thinking of festae i like them but whats the deal with false festae and true festae
i am in australia too so i haven limited options
any ideas suggestions comments would be lovely

Festae's grow out that tank. Personally, i would go with Grammodes.

I am biased of course as I just got all 3 for my 75gallon They all stay small however, and would fit your 55g fine.

Out of that list, the green terror is probably the only one that would do in a 55g for life. They grow slowly enough that a 55g would be good for a long, long time anyway. Maybe a female JD, although I've seen a couple too big for a 55g.

Can you get salvini? They are pretty cool and are sometimes known as "mini guapotes". They max out under 10".
