What to do w/55?

I've got a 55 CA/SA tank going right now. Not sure what to do with it. Here's the stock:

x1 Red Devil (4'')
x1 Convict (4'')
x3 Salvini (3-4'')
x1 Jaguar (3'')

The stock isn't permanent, the red devil and jag will eventually be moved, not sure about the rest.

I'll get some pics up soon.

Any suggestions? Not sure where to go with this tank.

I'd wait till you got rid of the red and jag, then git rid of the rest and start a new.
Salvini's are D$^&'s when it comes to small tanks and roomates and Black convicts are only good for food.


But thats just me....;)
 
move the red devil, slavini, and jag to your bigger tank........now with the 55g leave the convict, and make a community setup........like add 10 australian rainbows, 6 tiger barbs, pictus catfish, and maybe a firemouth......that would look good for a community.........

btw, most of the fish are in there because they have no where else to go.
 
I'd just stay with a pair of salvini in there, there are one of my favorite cichlids in terms of color when it comes to breeding dress

Thanks for the suggestion, I would do that, but the salvinis are rescues and are in bad shape from being housed in a 10 gallon tank... they have torn fins, washed out colors and HITH.

get rid of all the fish accept the convict, and add 2 more male black cons and a male pink con so have an all male con setup. this will give you lots of entertainment and personality.
 
4 male convicts in a 55g?? can that happen? wont there be to much aggression
