Hey everybody,

Ive been noticing lately one of my gold rams has been anoying the other fish even the larger silver dollars, especially at feeding time. I thought rams were one of the more peaceful fish...guess not. I caught him with in seconds after placeing the water bottle trap. Right now i have him in a deli cup with hole in it in the tank. I would like to keep him...is thier any way to add him back to the tank with less of a chance of his aggresive behavior? I figure just keeping him in the container for a week...hopefully he wont get stressed and cause some kind of disease in the tank.

Any ideas?

Stock: 72 Gallon Growout

13x Orange Head Geos (1in)
6x Silver Dollars(1inch to 1.5)
12x Rummy Nose Tetras (1 in)
5x Clown Loaches (1.5 in)
4x Albino Bushy Nose Plecos (1 inch)

Sd will bw removed if they cause problems to the geos as i heard they could...

That's strange but like they say cichlids have a mind of their own. How dies he pick on everyone? Is he especially aggressive with the other ram?

Chasing? Fin nipping? Try removing him to a different tank for a few days and redo the decorations.
