What to do with Edgar?

HI all... got a loong vacation coming up (19 days) where work will be closed. Gotta love working in education

What do I do with Edgar our departmental monster during this time? He's a 6" albino senegal...

The way I see it, either I could take him home to my tank there and let him terrorize the neons, or I could keep him here at work for the duration. If I leave him here at the office, I'd do a massive water change last thing before leaving, and leave him with a few baby guppies from my daughter's tank (I bring him some on occasion anyway) and a couple dozen small grass (ghost) shrimp, which I do occasionally anyway as well. Then plan on doing a water change once we get back. He'll miss out on his shrimp pellets, but he will have the guppies and ghost shrimp to snack on.

With heat, aeration, and live food available, he'll be fine for those 19 days. Hell, you can lock me up for 19 days with a fresh shrimp supply, too. I'm all for that.

in theory, with clean water and enough food, it should be fine. but personally i'd be too worried to actually do it for anything more than a week. i'd just take him home and let him terrorize the neons.

Dont mess with the wifes fish,Im a married fishkeeper,my wife enjoys the fish too.Ive met some fishkeepers whose wives dont like or even resent the fish,it doesnt look fun.
