I'm not going back to canister filters- it seems every single canister filter I have touched has gone to hell so was thinking what could I make out of this canister filter that has a leaking seal since the motor still works 
I brought it used and it started to leak within 6 months it has been in the garage/shed ever since
so was wondering what could I make out of the top piece/motor part as I'm not interested in making another canister filter out of it
