What To Do With Fry

Well im sure that this will help alot of people that get a pair of cichlids or any type of fish and they get babies. But once they get big enough who know what to do with them. Im currently on my first batch of convicts babies(nothing special) that are getting pretty, so im proud of myself. But now I dont know what to do with them. So I was wondering what do you guys do with your babies.

Convict fry can be used as feeders or sold to lfs's

i use them as dithers and feeders for my oscar gt and pike

wow, i thought convicts might have been a prized fish to cheap.

Anything that breeds as fast as cons do are pretty low on the food chain.

It is sad that a beautiful fish like the cons are so unrated in the scheme of things.. but too much production is not good for resale..always check the fish before breeding... because some are just hard to find homes for.. and end up as feeders..

oh ok. well i do have other cichlids they can be feeder to if i cant find any homes. But is there anyway to pick out the dominant males once they get to an inch or so because i would love to have a big male with a big forehead
