So I just caught a brown anole, been seeing a couple around lately. I swear I even saw a crested anole the other day. Im in extreme north west Florida so Im surprised to see these guys.

I also have a TON of Mediterranean geckos but that is a lost battle.

MFK, decide the fate of the caught invasive anole...

free him. they are great for insect populations.

go by what ever the law says .

Catch more!! Bring em to me!! They will love my den

x2.

Either kill them or sell them to people & pet stores as you can legally do either of those options. I wouldn't leave them go as the native green anole populations have been suffering in recent years due to competition from invasive species such as the brown anole; every brown anole eliminated will make it easier on the green anole population.

Im not going to let him go. The green anoles are so much prettier and native to boot. This guy was aggressive too, Ive never had an anole to stand his ground and lunge at me with his mouth open.

The geckos have really hurt the tree frogs around here.
