What to do with my 100g?

I have a 100g tank with a pair of FM and a pictus catfish. What should i do with my tank, i deffinetly wanna keep the FM's but the pictus can go.
Id like some eartheaters.
There is 1 sp. of geos that are available now but 2 other sp. also if i order, maybe more if i speak to the manager.

Geophagus Tapajos "Orangehead" (2") $35 (six available)
Gymnogeophagus Balzanii (2") $13 (order)
Satanoperca Daemon (2") $17 (order)
Satanoperca Daemon (4") $44 (order)

What i was wondering about is what should a get and how many?
Filteration is 2350L per hour (Rena XP3+Juwel filteration).

Decent sized Geophagus Tapajos are £45 ($75) where I live! I heard they aren't very tough though so there could be bullying from the Firemouths?

They would work with firemouths but I don't think it would work considering u have a pair balzani are a little tougher

I would order the Orangeheads online instead. They are MUCH cheaper. Look at Jeff Rapps website. There is also another member here who usually has them for sale.

What is the footprint of your 100 gallon?

I would be nervous putting Orangeheads with a breeding pair of Firemouths unless the tank was really large. Orangeheads are very peaceful, and I'd be afraid they wouldn't last.

You could probably put a pair or Rotkeil Severums with your FM's. I have also heard that Geophagus Balzini is more aggressive and might be a better fit for your tank.

Well, i cant order from Rapps, he doesnt ship to Iceland. concider that.
The footprint is "60x20x20.
The fm's really havent bred for me yet but they are aggressive little buggers.

If i would go with a group of Balzani, how many should i get?

5 or so. 2M 3F, although I doubt they can be sexed at 2". I've got 3 in my 75, plus some other gymnos and a Cr. minuano pair. No aggression, no breeding yet either though.

Good choice. The balzani will be able to hold thier own against the firemouths but they are really slow growers.
