I have a 35 gallon tank that i would like to use for breeding Crayfish,Ghost- shrimp, Feeders, or mabey even Goldfish. I have two oscars in a 150 gallon and looking for some advice. Thanks!

You can get a pair of breeding convicts, they would be fine in a 35 and would make some food for the oscars. Guppies would breed too slow and not enough offspring to feedthe oscar.

I agree, you should go with the convicts. they mature rather fast to breed, , they are the equivalent of an underwater rabbit when it comes to mating, and they usually produce around 50 or so fry that live. my lfs recently bred theirs and got about 75. they are fast and easily scared, but the fry should be easy to catch for mature oscars.

A couple Figure 8 puffers would be cool.
your right them guyz are awsome looking..i have a extra 30 gallon im thinking about getting a few of them... :D

Everytime the convict breeds it will have a bigger spawn. I had some in a 20 gallon and by the 10th spawn it was just disgusting.

usually if theres a dozen or more cons in a tank at the lfs, you can usually spot a pair right there. And yeah, they breed like crazy, my spawns are almost monthly and typically 50-100 strong.
