What to do with plants.

Should i cut the long ones and leave just the greenest parts. I don't even know what its called but its growth has takin over my tank.

Also this java, should i let it separate naturally or remove the new strand my self. Little ones already have roots.

Is that stem plant anacharis? Grown like a weed! Whatever it is, you can just trim the tops and replant to get more plants, or trim the tops, remove the bottoms, and plants the tops. It will grow regardless.

As for the fern, just break off the new sister plant with roots and replant. that's how these guys propagate.
