So I've got a 24" x 24" x 18" screen cage that is empty. It has all the furnishings for a chameleon but I don't really want another chameleon so I'm trying to think of something else that will do well in there. I was thinking of getting the exoterra waterfall with fogger if its something that needs humidity and possibly getting the exoterra foam background to cover the back and both sides. I'm leaning towards a crested, or day gecko but would like to hear some other suggestions.

I just got a screen cage of similar dimensions from a friend... it's sitting in a corner of my room because I have no idea what to do with it/put in it. Haha...

I had the same problem. The cage just sat around the reptile room. Finally, I solved it by selling the cage at a yard sale. :)

I can see by the looks of this thread that no else knows what to do with them either lol!

Screen cages are pretty much made for chameleons and not much else.... they don't hold heat and humidity at all well unless you do some serious modifications and you may as well get a new cage for that anyways.
You could potentially try and arid environment creature if you can get the heat up high enough for it?

I actually made a wood frame cage with plexi walls for my first GTP. I was thinking I could remove the screen from this one and use silicone to install some plexi walls on this and do something similar. The girlfriend is deathly afraid of snakes though. Gotta figure a way around that lol. She wanted to get over it, for my sake, so she went to the pet store without telling me to try and hold one but she just couldnt do it lol. She is not afraid anything else, definitely has a phobia for them though. Heck I gave her props for being a good GF for trying though.
