I'm thinking about redoing my 360gallon, and switching the wet/dry to a bigger one, so I'm gona be moving my fish around and there going to need a home for a day or so, I dont have a tank that can handle all these fish, so what could i do with them for the time being, i have some rather costly fish so i'd rather not loose them. I have some bins and sponge filters, would it be fine if I syphoned the water into the bins and hooked up the ( cycled sponge filters )?

i dont see why not.. large rubbermaids or horse troughs (dont know how big your monsters are) with air bubbles, heaters and sponge filters should work for a day..

Yep should be fine as others said..

I've used big rubbermaid tubs for temp homes several different times. Hook an HOB to it and don't forget to cover the top with some eggcrate and a rock or the fish will jump out. I lost one once when I didn't completely cover the top.

Another good tip for using plastic storage bins is to build light wooden frames around them, this keeps the wieght of the water from deforming thier shape.

check out my 10 dollar 210g temp pond in my diy link ;)
