What to do with this tank ??

Ok… My buddy has a 210 or a 240 gallon (I can’t remember) and he wants to start it back up again. It was salt water in the past. He has piranhas now and would like to get into some large monsters.

He has not decided whether or not to go fresh or stay with salt water. What do you guys think? What would you do with this tank? I mentioned to him to get into the gars but who knows. He is looking for ideas.

id do a monster asian tank with maybe a giant gourami, big shoal of clown loaches, shoal of large barbs eg tinfoils, trio of clown or royal knives, tire track eel, fire eel (tire track and fire would have to be raised together from young, even then its still not 100% safe)

I thought some walking cat species were illegal in the states? Go with a shoal of wide bars. Or a SA biotype with a SAL. Or a poly community with p.b.b and cong, maybe an asorgii or two- all the big species.
