What to do.....

Right now I have my FH's in their own tanks,alone.
Do you guy's figure it's better that way or should I try and find tank mates?
What would make good tank mates for these guy's?they don't seem to really like anything I put in with them.My short body has already killed a 5" pleco.I'm worried about putting my 8"RD in with him cause I don't want my FH torn up.
Any ideas?
