One of my friends just gave me an extra 30 gallon HOB filter by Top Fin. Top Fin sucks but what the hell an extra filter I couldn't say no. 
The Only thing is though is it's missing a part. I have no clue what it's called so Ill just describe it. It's the last part of the filter where the water goes out. Not the cartridges that you buy but the black part that you never throw away, just rinse. It's black, so yeah Well he doesn't know where it is so I dont have one.
What else could I use to replace that. I can buy the cartridge but then it would go thru the floss and just go thru nothing and then go back out to the tank, what can take the place of that. They don't sell extra whatchamacallit's
