what to do

So i just picked up a 72 gal bow front for $120 and dont know what to do with it. with the works. But i think im just stash the filtration and get or use my own. Not sure if it would make a nice planted tank or not.

Lol, that would be nice. Personally BF tanks are show tanks for me. He has a good idea, obviously with plants and a nice light it'll set you back, but that's the name of the game with show tanks. It's all for show baby, gotta spend to be a baller. LOL

personally I can't stand the distortion of bows. a single larger fish wouldn't be as distorted imo. It could make a nice planted tank. Swords don't seem to distort as bad as Vals and slender tall plants tend to. Really depends on how you like to scape and what you want. If YOU don't like what your putting into the tank then whats it matter? if you don't already have a bow.. check out some pics or check out a local LFS that does have one set-up and filled to get a feel for how they look.

Yea it was a steal still in box lid too. I was thinking maybe a disc tank but i do think im go planted. looks like im building another stand thinking i might make it to hold my 65 tall on top and the bow on the bottom.
