Well I treated my fish with some parasitic meds. All the other fish seem to be fine but there is one that is just kind of borderline. It's still swimming around a little bit but it just keeps swimming up to the surface of the water with its head up to the surface. Should I but it out of its misery or should I leave it?

It's a batch of EBJD's I have the temp at 81 right now. Which all other tank mates seem to be fine with. I'd definitely take the guy out. But when I go to net him it still swims away and stuff but then slowly returns to the top of the tank when I remove the net. I'd hate to throw out a fish that isn't going to die, but it sure looks like it is.

I did a water change two nights ago. About 30% which brought my nitrates down to about 20. PH is 7.0. I didn't think about that actually. I think I might wait it out and see what happens. Worse comes to worse I lose a fish, but I'd hate to lose the chance that it could get better as well.

i hear u,, if it wer me i would trun out the lights and hope for the best,,

oh and i would trun the temp down too,the xtra oxygen might help [just guessin]

I'd separate it into a quarantine tank. The problem is if it is really weak it has a greater chance to get a disease which could then affect other fish.

Yeah definitely. I've got it quarantined. I originally treated him for internal parasites last week. It was getting a bit better till about last night.
