What to do??

I have a 125g with 8/peacocks 1/hap and 1/synodonits. 1 of my peacocks/red shoulder keeps hiding by my filters he about 5' and gets pick on! He comes down at night but that all. Even when they eat he still stays by the filter and I have throw food over there. What to do??

Are there enough territories/hiding places? Can you rearrange the decor to force everyone to reestablish their own spaces so he might be able to claim something of his own?

I think I need more rocks to make more caves! I think I'm kinda need rearrange my tank to make new territory. Is their anything else I can do?

I was thinking of that but I want more of a natural look. I'm just going to have to get more rocks. Damn rocks be so expensive now a days!

Try a ZooMed floating log. They come in different sizes. Great for fish being picked on, or for holding females to hide in.

Go to a landscaping store to get rocks much cheaper, and you'll have a bigger selection. The floating logs are a great idea too, I have two of them and my fish are always playing and hiding in them.

Clay pots are good to use, and you can decorate them with a paint and brush, and then a really good clear coat to hold down the colors, that is marine safe.

I just wash and scrub the rocks good to make sure they're free of any chemicals that might have gotten on them, if you really want to be careful then you can soak them in a tub with a little bit of bleach. Just remember to dechlorinate before adding to your tank.
