What to do?

I have a 35(30x12x21" high) gallon aquarium with a 3" synspilum and a 3" Severum. What are some good tankmates?

No offense but that is a bit of a silly question. A synspilum alone needs a 90 gallon when full grown(15") and a full grown Severum can easily claim a 55 at 8-10". So yes, it is a grow out for my 8 foot 240 gallon.
 
The reason I want to keep them both is the vieja and the Severum both are showing excellent color.
 
Could the rotkeil, who now eyeballing it she is 4-4.5", go with other 2-4" severums?

Well my bad I didn't know. For tank mates for the 240 I'd do chocolate cichlids or a different type of vieja with them
