What to expect? Texas X Red Devil

I bought a male texas and a female red devil a while ago. They have been breeding, but the eggs were never fertilized. Ironically a few days ago, they bred again and this time, things went well. For the time being the fries are almost free swimming. They are almost done with their yolk sack. I dont have much, probably 30-50. Anyways, what can I expect from this mating?

well as far as i know bro you are up to some red texas.you so take the best male out of the fry and breed it back with the female midas to get a Super Red Texas lol i hope this help post some pic soon

This sounds right! Id like to see the babies with some color/size on them. You just kinda bred the best of both worlds!
 
I have posted these pics before. I was not able to take any pics of the pair breeding because the GF just lost my camera. As as soon as the fries are 1 inch, I will take some pics.

I was assuming that with this breeding, it will resemble the red texas. Knowing my female is black and orange, would that hold me back from creating red texas?

Shouldn't hold you back! All Midas/RDs have black in them til they get some age.
