What to expect on a 50gal. tank w/ 2 bicher(9" albino & 12"endli) which the owner abandoned for 5months without feeding, electricity or even cleaning the tank?

very nice clear water w/ substrate full of waste and two bichir waiting to be feed... T_T now I started adopted them and in 2months they're very healthy...

Those must be some hardy fish to go that long without eating.

I think so... and I've heard they can live in 9months without eating... and IMO they are air breather so they don't need air pump when they got to that stage...
