I just bought I 10inch delhezi and I've been trying to feed home bloodworms but he's just not eating.....so what should I feed one that size and what amount, as well as how often lol it was a bit of an impulse buy.

How long have you had it? It may take a few days or more for him/her to get settled into it's new environment. I feed mine massivore, krill, tilapia chunks, silversides and algae wafers. All my fish get fed twice a day sometimes three.

You can feed your newly acquired Polypterus Delhezi with fresh fish fillet, fresh chicken heart, fresh fish like anchovies(Dilis) or fresh prawns cut into small bite size pieces. You feed your delhezi bichir once a day preferrably at night since bichirs are nocturnal fishes. But you can also try offering food in the morning or noon time.offer your bichir only small portions of food first and observe if your bichir will eat.remove any left over food after at least 30 minutes or less to avoid polluting your tank water.Once your bichir have adjusted to his new environment he will eventually learn to accept food being offered to him.:)

agree just give him time to settle down. after that im sure he'll be eating like a piggy.
