What to feed a murray cod?

First of all, Hi! Sorry, I couldn't find the hello forum

I am getting a murray cod for my 4x2x2 tank soon. I know he will get too big, an excuse for a bigger tank

Just wondering, apart from goldfish, what can I feed him?

How about whitebait from the LFS?

YOu can feed them pretty much anything. Get it onto pellets if you can, as they'll be cheaper, but otherwise, whitebait, bait prawn, pieces of fish fillet, they'll take it all...the odd live yabby goes down quite well too if you're that way inclined.

Pellets are a good choice.
Because once he gets around the 2ft mark he will demolish alot of food.

Rats and mice when he's older , but good to get em onto pellets soon as possible and remeber the more you feed the faster he's gonna grow - if you feed him live food or high protein pellets.

Lol its just for fun, i dont actually mean go out and collect mice and rats to feed to your fish lol, besides they could do harm to your fish.
