I recently picked up a needlefish,and I was wondering about something.I know you can feed them shrimp,insects,feeders,etc etc but what feeders should I give it?Rosy reds,guppies,or gambusia?

Whatever is skinnier and softer. If we're thinking of the same fish...then you don't want live because they are excitable fish ,that during the chase, might:

i'd try using feeders raised by you (meaning not pet store feeders). Otherwise try crickets or maybe coax it into frozen silversides or krill
Wait, the skinny Needlefish that are mosly sa;twater other than the Amazon species? Or the kind w/ an adipose fin.
I feed mine roseys that are fed high quality flakes. He stopped roseys for awhile and couldn't find out why. I noticed him chomping some freeze-dried baby shrimp one day and it clicked. So, try some floating foods that would be easily eaten.
