Okay so i have three tadpoles. They are in a 2.5 gallon tank with slanted rocks making a deep part and a part rising from the 2 gal of water. I feed them crumbled fish food flakes and thawed bloodworms. The oldest tadpole just got all four legs in and his mouth is opening wider. He doesn't climb on the rocks yet, but he is developing nicely. This is my first time actually working with frogs, and I don't know what to feed it in this stage. Can anybody help?

Hello? Can anyone help me? He's starting to lose his tail now and climbs just high enough to stick his eyes out of the water.

I'm not completely sure, but i believe it is a bull frog. I got it from the science lab at my school. It's the kind of frog you use for dissection. Right now, the tail is completely gone, he refuses to eat live food, and he is about an inch (not including those long legs).

I think you're supposed to wait a little while until he completely absorbs his tail.
But you can always try getting some fruit flies and tossing them in, they'll probably scamper about on the water surface and attract the froglet.

Ok I'll do that. Does anybody know if Petco has live food for frogs? I've set up his own tank, but have yet to put him in it due to the fact that i can't seem to catch him in the fish tank. Haha

I raised two bullfrogs myself, and like you it was my first time. They wont eat for around a week after their tail is gone. Give them some time then slowly try meal worms and small crickets. When their ready, they'll eat.

Okay well currently, he's still smaller than a poison dart frog. And if I feed him meal worms, do i just leave them on the tank rocks or what? He's munching on fish flakes still, but he's leaving the blood worms alone. What about those sea monkeys? I forgot what the real name was, but I know they're a shrimp.

I'll take some new pics. The only ones I have of it right now are of it with a full tail still. I'll upload some tomorrow if i have enough time after homework.
