what to feed arrowana

hi i bought a 21" arrowana last sunday and the guy i bought it off said he was feeding mussels only what do you guys reccomend i feed it i have been trying lancefish and cockles anything else i should try

I have a 19" silver and I feed raw shrimp (take off the shell) mainly but i also at times feed large cichlid pellets that float and blood worms. Do your h/w and you should be fine. Also don't over feed after a while you should feed it every other day.

It may take awhile to get your arowana to eat anything at all. They are funny that way, some will eat within hours of being moved to a new tank yet other will take two or three weeks to eat. I would just offer food once a day, not leaving it in the tank for more then a few minutes.

What do you feed the other fish you have in the tank?
