The fish is approximately 1.5-2" approximately. I tried bloodworms and he ignored them any suggestions?

Try something live. Live blackworms or maybe earthworms would be best, and while I'm not very familiar with natives, I think that these guys would take feeder minnows if that fails.

Bullheads are not very picky eaters. In fact they eat everything you feed. Flakes, pellets, live foods, frozen foods and dried foods. But I would think that cichlid pellets makes excellent food for the bullheads.

Think the lack of appetite could be due to him only being in his new tank for two days? Or maybe I have not provided enough cover. He will be moving again soon into my 55g.

He ate a single shrimp pellet today that was it. Could he possibly be full after one pellet? I tried earthworm sticks to didn't touch it.

Add cover, "newly caught fish syndrome" for natives where they dont eat for awhile, more interested in trying to escape, worms should do the trick

I won't feed him right now, just try it again later evening and just a small chopped worm should be enough.
