Hey guys,
I wasn't really sure where to put this thread so if I put it in the wrong place my bad. But like the title says I was wondering what to feed some crickets I just bought? I know you can buy food but is there anything that I might already have that I could just throw in with them? Like fruits or vegetables and should I put some water in as well? They're for my baby Aro if anyone is wondering.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

I would feed them fish pellets. This should "gut load" the crickets with fish beneficial products from the pellets which in turn will be released after the fish eats the crickets. As for water, cut a small piece off a sponge and wet it with water. This will provide water for the crickets and they can't drown this way.

I use to use orange slices, flakes and pellets to gut load.

I would skip the fruit since I don't think they benefit the aro. Plus, the crickets are most likely to go after the high moisture fruit rather than the pellets. You want the fish beneficial stuff from the pellets in the aro, not fruits/veggies IMHO

I added Massivore, an orange, a grape, and a wet cotton ball. So far I've only seen them on the cotton ball and they've been all over the Massivore. They don't seem to like the fruit for some reason.
