What to feed fry?

I am planning on breeding Bettas in the coming months and need to know what to feed their fry.
What is the best food for their fry?
How can I acquire this or breed them, and the difficulty?

For a first fry food for bettas, use a hard boiled egg yolk strained through a nylon stocking. Don't overfeed. The secret to raising betta fry is to keep the air temperature above the tank as warm as the tank water. Also keep the water level in the tank low until the fry grow a bit.

Reason for keeping air temperature the same? And what happens if water temperature is higher?

reason: they are anabantids and partially breathe air
what happens: your fish explode

also try microscopic stuff like green water, infusoria.

I know they partially breathe air haha. But why does it always say to keep betta's in a warmer water than room temperature?
