what to feed half feet LMB

Very much south..
that I brought home yesterday, rescued from a fisher?

Are they of a size where they can still adapt?
 
easier for me to get crickets..would they go for it?
 
They should, I thought they'd go for almost anything that hits the water.
 
Bass eat insects in the wild, worms, minnows, crays. If you place the food in the same spot every time, eventually they'll take Krill. Then switch the krill for pellets.
 
go buy some rosies (fathead minnows). get about a dozen. it will keep him from starving. but also, in the mean time, drop other food in there to see what hes willing to take.

They're in quarantine, medicated for external parasites. Will try to feed them tonight with the feeders.
 
I have 5 smaller ones ( around the 2 to 3 inch mark ) who were really easy to turn over. I had them with fish that eat well and taught them how to eat. Started with bloodworms and now they're on krill.

I understand the bigger ones are much more difficult to adapt....
