what to feed him

what should i feed my lungfish. whats a good food for him. oh whats beef heart. i asked the store and all they new about was choken heart. where do iget some. i need some to feed my atfs and african pikes. thanks

lungfish like crunchy meaty foods

shrimps

clams

crab meat

krill

fish meat

not sure bout pellets

i feed mine pellets, beefheart, mussels, shrimp and anchovies.. they'll eat almost anything you put in there so you shouldn't have a problem

Anything lean and meaty should be fine .Beefheart is just that the heart of a cow.If you buy it from the butcher you have to cut it into strips and remove any fat you find.-Anne

Mine loves pretty much anything, white fish, silverside, krill, and pellets. If he can bite it he will eat ti.

I have been struck not only by what they'll eat (anything meaty) but also by the quantity. They can really pack it away.
