What to feed l114 pleco.

Hey all. A little new to plecos. I have this guy in a 220 gallon South American tank with sveni and Altum angels along with another cactus pleco, forget the number on him, but anyways what’s a good food for these kind of plecos. I’ve had the l114 for about a good year now and haven’t really noticed much growth. I put pellets in the tank at night with the lights off but honestly have no clue if they’re getting the food or if the other fish are still getting it. I notice the plecos are out and about when I first go down to turn lights on but then they go hide again right away so that’s a good sign that they’re out and about looking for food at night. So main question, what do you feed these liners or plecos and should I just grow them out in a separate tank until they’re larger so they’re not competing for food as much? Thanks guys

I feed mine salad shrimp and sinking veggie/shrimp/worm pellets, he will eat all day if I let him.

Feed your plecos when u turn the lights off, most hide until they're used to eating out in the open in bright light. Frozen blood worms, mysis shrimp, algae wafers but an L114 will prefer meaty food. I have several that were tiny but have grown substantial and will compete with other fish for food and win...L114 can hold their own once established, one of my favorites.
