So I picked up a baby RTC on Sunday, roughly 2" and have him alone in my 45gal. The tank is established so water parameters are good.

What is the best thing to feed this little guy? I tried flakes and chopped up shrimp pellets but it doesn't look like he touched anything. Should I chop up some shrimp into tiny pieces or go to the LFS to buy something else?

He is active at night with the lights off, when the lights are on he sits in his little cave.

Thanks!

Mine still doesn't like anything other than bloodworms, so I'm working on weaning her off of bloodworms.

So yeah, try frozen bloodworms. Like someone on the forum once said, "bloodworms are like fish crack."

OK so I just returned from the LFS with some Hikari frozen bloodworm cubes.

Never fed frozen food cubes to any of my fish. Do I just throw in a frozen cube? Defrost it? 1/2 a cube?

Thanks

my rtc literally eats anything he eats chopped shrimp, fish filet, feeders and all kinds of pellets. try using HBH supersoft pellets with krill.
